Official Contest Rules

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. A PURCHASE WILL NOT PROVIDE AN ADDITIONAL ENTRY.

1. Sponsor

The Mack's Peppers The Purple Tomato™ Salsa Giveaway (the “Contest”) is sponsored and administered solely by Mack's Peppers, Chesterville, Ontario (the “Sponsor”).

2. Eligibility

The Contest is open only to legal residents of Canada, excluding Quebec, who have reached the age of majority in their province or territory of residence at the time of entry.

Employees and representatives of Mack's Peppers, and members of their immediate households, are not eligible to enter.

3. Contest Period

The Contest begins on August 29, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time and closes on September 27, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. Eastern Time (the “Contest Period”).

Only eligible entries received during the Contest Period will be accepted.

4. How to Enter

NO PURCHASE OR DONATION IS NECESSARY TO ENTER.

Entry is available in person at participating Mack's Peppers markets and events during the Contest Period.

To enter, an eligible individual may request a free Contest ballot from the Mack's Peppers booth, complete the required information, and deposit the completed ballot in the designated Contest entry box.

Limit of one (1) entry per person per participating market or event.

An eligible individual may enter again at another participating market or event during the Contest Period, subject to the limit of one (1) entry per person at each participating market or event.

No purchase, payment, or charitable donation is required to obtain an entry.

Purchasing a Mack's Peppers product, making a charitable donation, or spending any particular amount of money will not provide an additional entry at any participating market or event.

Entries that are incomplete, illegible, fraudulent, duplicated contrary to these Rules, or otherwise fail to comply with these Rules may be disqualified.

Online Entry:
During the Contest Period, an eligible individual may obtain one (1) free online entry by completing the online Contest entry form available through the Official Contest Rules page.

Limit of one (1) online entry per person during the entire Contest Period.

An online entry is separate from entries obtained at participating Mack's Peppers markets and events. An individual who submits an online entry may also obtain one (1) entry at each participating market or event they attend, subject to the entry limits described above.

No purchase, payment, or charitable donation is required to submit an online entry.

5. Prizes

There are six (6) prizes available to be won.

Each prize consists of:

One (1) limited-edition jar of Mack's Peppers The Purple Tomato™ Salsa.

The salsa has been produced specifically as a limited promotional product and is not being offered for sale as part of this promotion.

The approximate retail value (“ARV”) of each prize is $10 CAD, for a total ARV of $60 CAD for all six prizes.

Each prize must be accepted as awarded and has no cash redemption value. Prizes may not be transferred, sold, or substituted by a winner.

6. Winner Selection

Following the close of the Contest Period, six (6) potential winners will be selected by random draw from all eligible online and in-person entries received during the Contest Period.

The draw will take place on or about September 28, 2026.

An individual may win a maximum of one (1) prize.

If an individual who has already been selected as a winner is selected again, that entry will be disregarded and another eligible entry will be randomly selected.

The odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

7. Skill-Testing Question

Before being declared a winner and receiving a prize, each potential winner must correctly answer, without assistance, a time-limited mathematical skill-testing question administered by Mack's Peppers.

If a potential winner does not correctly answer the skill-testing question, that individual will not be declared a winner and another eligible entrant may be randomly selected.

8. Winner Notification

Potential winners will be contacted using the contact information provided on their Contest entry.

A potential winner must respond within seven (7) days of the Sponsor's first attempt to contact them.

If a potential winner:

• cannot be contacted;
• does not respond within the required period;
• is determined to be ineligible;
• fails to correctly answer the skill-testing question; or
• otherwise fails to comply with these Official Rules,

the potential winner will be disqualified and another eligible entrant may be selected by random draw.

Prize pickup or delivery arrangements will be made directly between Mack's Peppers and each confirmed winner.

9. Charitable Campaign

In connection with the promotional campaign, Mack's Peppers will donate $1 CAD from every Mack's Peppers product sold directly by Mack's Peppers at participating markets and events and through mackspeppers.com between August 29, 2026 and September 27, 2026 to CHEO Foundation (Children's Hospital of Eastern Ontario Foundation).

The charitable campaign is separate from the Contest.

No purchase or charitable donation is necessary to enter or win the Contest.

Purchasing a product or making a donation does not provide an entrant with an additional Contest entry.

Following the conclusion of the promotional period, Mack's Peppers will donate the total amount raised through this campaign to CHEO Foundation.

CHEO Foundation is not a sponsor or administrator of the Contest and is not responsible for the operation of the Contest, selection of winners, or fulfillment of prizes.

10. The Purple Tomato™ and Norfolk Healthy Produce

The limited-edition salsa prizes are produced and distributed by Mack's Peppers using The Purple Tomato™ with permission from Norfolk Healthy Produce.

Mack's Peppers is the sole sponsor and administrator of the Contest and is solely responsible for the manufacture of the salsa, administration of the Contest, selection and notification of winners, and fulfillment of prizes.

Norfolk Healthy Produce is not a sponsor or administrator of the Contest and is not responsible for the manufacture of the salsa, operation of the Contest, selection of winners, or fulfillment of prizes.

The Purple Tomato™ name and associated trademarks are used with permission.

11. Personal Information

Personal information collected through Contest entries will be used by Mack's Peppers for the purposes of administering the Contest, verifying eligibility, contacting potential winners and fulfilling prizes.

Entering the Contest does not automatically subscribe an entrant to Mack's Peppers marketing communications.

Personal information collected for the Contest will be handled in accordance with applicable Canadian privacy laws.

12. General Conditions

By entering the Contest, entrants agree to comply with these Official Rules.

Mack's Peppers reserves the right to disqualify any entrant or entry that the Sponsor reasonably determines has violated these Rules or attempted to interfere with the fair administration of the Contest.

If circumstances beyond the Sponsor's reasonable control interfere with the proper administration of the Contest, Mack's Peppers reserves the right, subject to applicable law, to modify, suspend, postpone or terminate the Contest.

Mack's Peppers will conduct the Contest and award the available prizes without undue delay in accordance with these Official Rules and applicable law.

13. Governing Law

The Contest is subject to applicable federal laws of Canada and applicable provincial and territorial laws.
