Hangjiao 4 Comet's Tail (HJ4)

The 4th variety in the 10-pepper Chinese Space Pepper collection.

This unique pepper traces its origins to a Chinese space mission, where chili seeds were exposed to radiation and microgravity,  conditions that accelerated genetic mutations and gave rise to this extraordinary cultivar.  Discovered by Jiang Xingcun in 1987.
