Ruby Jalapeño

An accidental cross that was discovered by PepperMerchant and became a part of their PM series. His seeds were originally labeled Shishito Blackout, and it did not resemble the shape of the pods used in the photos or that of a traditional shishito.

Pods start a dark purple similar to Count Dracula and ripen to a dark red color with some pods having mild corking. Flavor is very similar to a Jalapeño with a similar heat.
